How booking works

1. Find a space

Search by place: Browse in the app, Spaces on the website. Each space shows its photos, size, price per week and the owner's rating.

2. Send a request

Choose the dates. Bookings are in blocks of 4 weeks, and only start dates that leave time to make and deliver the ad are offered.
Choose who makes the ad: our production team, or you supply it yourself. See Supplying your own ad.
Add your artwork, check the costs and send. Every cost is shown before you send. See Fees.

To move a paid booking, use Change dates on its page before production starts. The space owner accepts or declines within 48 hours. A longer booking is charged the difference; a shorter one is refunded. After production starts, dates can't change: cancel and book again.

3. Approval and payment

Nothing is charged while you wait. The space owner approves or declines.
Your card is charged when they approve.
A space marked "Instant book" is approved and charged as soon as you send. See Instant book.

4. Production and the parcel

Our production team makes the ad and sends it to the space owner. You get the tracking number by email when it ships, and the booking page shows where it is up to.

5. Installed, with photos

The space owner puts the ad up within 3 days of the start date and takes photos. You see them on the booking page, and can ask for a new photo once every 7 days. If the ad is not up in time, the booking is cancelled and you get the booking total back. See Parcels, installing the ad and photos.

6. After the booking

The space owner takes the ad down and recycles, keeps or returns it, as you chose. See What happens to the printed ad afterwards.
