Getting verified as a space owner
The short video and saved card that let you approve bookings, and what to do if it is not approved.
Before you approve your first booking, you get verified. It takes about two minutes.
What you do
- Film a video of your space of up to 30 seconds, in the app or in your phone's browser. The phone's location is recorded while you film, so do it at the space.
- Save a card with Stripe. It is charged only if you cancel a paid booking or miss an install (see Cancelling as a space owner).
Our team looks at the video and tells you by push and email.
Before you are verified
Your spaces are shown to advertisers straight away, marked "Business unverified". You can have up to 3 spaces until you are verified. No advertiser is charged until you are.
If it is not approved
The message says why, for example the video does not show the space, or it was filmed away from the address. Fix that and try again from Get verified; you can retry after an hour. If you think it was a mistake, ask from Help and support; the team decides.
