Shop window advertising
A poster in another business’s window puts your ad where local people already walk past every day.
What it is
Shop window advertising means renting part of a shop’s window for your poster or decal. The shop keeps trading as usual. People walking or driving past see your ad, often several times a week.
It suits businesses that serve a local area: cafés, gyms, trades, clinics, real estate, events and new openings.
What makes a window ad work
- One message. People read a window in a few seconds while they walk.
- Large, high-contrast text that reads from across the footpath.
- Your name, what you offer, and one way to act (a QR code or a short web address).
- A window on a street your customers already use, near where you trade.
Choosing a window
Look at foot traffic, which way people walk, and whether the window faces the street or a car park. On Ad in Space, each listing shows a photo of the space, its size, the setting, and the owner’s estimate of weekly reach.
How to book one
- Browse spaces near your customers and open any listing for photos and price.
- Send a booking request for one or more 4-week blocks. You’re charged only when the owner approves.
- Upload your design, or have our production team make and deliver the poster.
- The owner puts it up and sends a photo once it’s installed.
